2024 Fall Gala: Reflections

The Claremont Lewis Museum of Art Fall Gala will be held on Saturday, September 21 at 5:30 pm on the lawn of the Claremont Depot.

This year’s Gala, Reflections, is inspired by the work of Phil Dike, one of Claremont’s most renowned painters from the last century. An influential and admired teacher to hundreds of students, Dike was best known for his coastal scenes and his raw confident brushstrokes.

This year we will celebrate Phil Dike’s legacy by naming Gallery 2 in his honor. The Museum galleries will be open to view the exhibition, Phil Dike: A Bird’s Eye View.

Enjoy wine and hors d’oeuvres on the Depot plaza, while perusing art and experiences offered in our Live Auction. Dinner al fresco follows on the lawn catered by Chef Henry of Spaggi’s.

As is our tradition, we will have a spirited live auction, featuring unique works of art and experiences.

Our evening ends with a Paddle Auction which funds our arts education program, Project ARTstART, celebrating its 14th year in the Claremont Unified School District.
