Rotary Club and Los Angeles County Award Grants to Project ARTstART
(July 2, 2013) – Early this year, Dawn Grimes, a local Rotarian, observed the ARTstART youth in a meeting. She was so impressed that she recommended Project ARTstART receive funding from the Rotary Club. In April, the Rotary Club awarded the CMA $500 to fund ARTstART.
Recently, the Los Angeles County Arts Commission informed the CMA it will award a $14,400, two- year grant to Project ARTstART. The grant was identified and the process initiated by SOURCE, a student-run non-profit consulting organization at Kravis Institute at Claremont McKenna College.
The CMA thanks the Rotary Club and the County for their support.
