    The 20th Century was an era of constant renewal in the arts, with artists seeking new modes of self-expression and cultural production. These visionaries gave us radical new ways of seeing the world. Join us every Thursday, 6-7 pm at the Museum for our free Summer Speaker Series. Art historian Wendy Slatkin, Ph. D will explore the most exciting Western works of art of the 1900s and provide the historical contexts that defined these important works of art. Learn More

  2. Aesthetic Meditation on Nondual Being: a discussion with Charles Long & Khang Bảo Nguyễn

    Join us in dialogue with Charles Long and Khang Bảo Nguyễn, featured artists in our current exhibition The Great Perfection 6 pm-7:30 pm. The program will begin with a brief meditation, followed by slideshows by the artists and discussion of the intersection of nondual philosophies and creative practice. Exhibition Curator Seth Pringle will moderate the discussion with audience participation highly encouraged. The program will be followed by light refreshments in the Baldonado Atrium.

    Artists from Claremont and beyond are invited to exhibit in a one-day pop-up show. There will be no fees to exhibit. With hundreds of artists expected to participate, Free 4 All is a commitment to unfiltered community building and celebration.

  4. Reflections Gala 2024

    Our Fall Gala theme Reflections, held on the lawn at the historic Claremont Depot, will highlight our upcoming exhibition featuring the work of Claremont artist, Phil Dike, underscoring the profound impact of the arts on our lives and community. Gallery 2 will be named in Phil Dike’s honor and memory, as one of Claremont’s most prominent legacy artists and one of California’s most famous watercolorists.
