An Artful Evening

Over 130 museum members enjoyed a summer evening on the patio of the McIntosh home, designed in 1958 by Fred McDowell. Members toured the home and visited the studio shared by ceramists Harrison McIntosh and Rupert Deese. Docents provided information on the McIntosh’s collection of fellow Claremont artists. Members also toured the house next door, an architectural gem designed by Richard Neutra, that has been lovingly restored and landscaped by homeowners Domingo and Martha Paglia.
