Opening Reception, “Suspended Between Laughter and Tears”
A lively crowd attended the opening reception September 30 of Suspended Between Laughter and Tears organized by Pitzer College Art Galleries with the support of the Claremont Museum of Art. Ader’s 1970s films dominated the walls of the Nichols Gallery juxtaposed with recent works of other artists influenced by Bas Jan Ader’s work.
