Marguerite’s Closet Preview Sale and Reception
Join us 5-7 pm for a special reception and preview sale of Marguerite McIntosh’s stylish wardrobe of small-sized fashions displayed in the elegant lobby of Claremont Lincoln University. Bring your friends, daughters, and granddaughters to shop for the best of these vintage treasures from 1960-2010 with all proceeds benefitting the Museum.
A petite Parisian, Marguerite McIntosh, the founding president of the Claremont Lewis Museum of Art, was known for her fashionable style. In her 100-year life she collected an amazing wardrobe.
- Extra-small, small and medium-sized clothing
- Jackets, pants, dresses, silk blouses, sweaters
- Leather, wool, hats, belts, scarves, jewelry
- Fabulous shoes (size 7-7.5 narrow) including boots, sandals and high-heel pumps
The sale is presented by The Revised Closet in partnership with Claremont Lincoln University, located adjacent to the Claremont Lewis Museum of Art. The public sale will be held Saturday, September 12, 10 am – 4 pm and Sunday, September 13, 10 am – 2 pm.
