School Programs

As public funding for school art programs shrinks, the Claremont Lewis Museum of Art fills an important role in providing art education to Claremont youth through our education programs.

Project ARTstART

Project ARTstART trains high school students to teach museum-based arts appreciation lessons to elementary school students. The program involves college student mentors who coach Claremont high schoolers to become teaching students serving seven Claremont elementary schools. Learn More
