Education Programs
As public funding for school art programs shrinks, the Claremont Lewis Museum of Art fills an important role in providing art education to Claremont youth through our education programs.
Project ARTstART
Project ARTstART trains high school students to teach museum-based arts appreciation lessons to elementary school students. The program, now in its 11th academic year, involves college student mentors who coach Claremont high schoolers to become teaching students serving seven Claremont elementary schools.

ARTStation provides monthly art activities at the Museum and at annual community festivals. Find ARTStation, a place for children to experience art and engage with local culture, at the museum on the first Sunday of every month and at annual community festivals.
